Russ Larson spent over 13 years with both a larger bank group and then a family owned bank. He started in consumer lending and moved on to commercial lending. He spent the last 7 years of his banking career as a Sr. Commercial Lender overseeing the consumer and real estate lending lines for the bank.
“I really feel my lending experience has been beneficial because the J.D. Byrider business is more about putting good paper on the books, than selling cars.”
“I came into the auto and finance business without any prior automotive experience. I have been involved in numerous franchises now and in the past – including Hilton, Holiday Inn, PODS, various restaurant franchises and retail fuel and oil operations – and J.D. Byrider is unique in that it provides a long term platform of systems and technology that allow for consistent growth and profitability. The pathway to success is established by the fully-integrated business model, which provides strong profitability and equity growth when the proven formula is followed.”
J.T Gandolfo gave up a promising law career to enter the new car sales business back in 1982, when he worked in various management positions until he purchases his own store in 1991 – Dodgeland of Columbia, S.C. Over the years he has grown that business to include two other new car stores (JT’s Kia of Columbis, S.C. and JT’s Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Lexington S.C.) Since that time he has consistently achieved the highest awards Chrysler bestows on their dealers, including the five-star award.
J.T. Gandolfo also franchised his first J.D. Byrider in 1999 in Columbia, SC, and has since opened two additional units in Charleston, SC and Greenville, SC.
“I’m a new car dealer in Columbia, SC, and we do very well. The opportunity though, to have the J.D. Byrider franchise just fit in perfectly, for a number of reasons. We’re able to cater to ALL levels of the customer. I’d recommend J.D. Byrider to anyone.
